Limerick Based

Experience and exposure within sectors including residential/retail/office and mixed-use developments is advantageous.

Role/Requirements

• Third Level Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management essential

• 3+ years' experience desirable

• Providing administrative and technical support the Project Team

• Maintaining records and report writing and good knowledge of Excel and Word a requirement.

• Knowledge of Planning and Building regulation.

• An understanding of contract requirements, but not essential.

• Knowledge Of Irish Water requirements and connections.

• Knowledge of Auto Cad desirable but not essential.• Motivated individual with excellent communication skills

• A positive, "can do" approach, determined to succeed

• Full Driver’s license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours Of Work 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Salary: From €35,000 plus per year depending on experience and probationary period of 9months.

Chartered Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves a cost management position on the team. The role primarily involves a

combination of normal project quantity surveyor/cost manager tasks at all project stages

including pre-contract cost planning and bills of quantities production, and post-contract

interim recommendations and variation account valuation and agreement. In addition, there

will be opportunities to work on other specialist tasks including technical due diligence on

proposed developments in both the public and private sectors.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or appropriate conversion course

• Preferrable Chartered by if working towards same this is acceptable

• Knowledge of ARM and preparation of BOQs to ARM.

• Minimum 5 experience.

• Full Driving License.

• Previous experience in a consulting or contracting environment providing/undertaking Cost Management services is desirable.

• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.

• Report writing knowledge essential.

• Drive to learn and contribute in a positive and engaging manner.

• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver collective tasks and also to work under own initiative where appropriate.

• Understanding of construction projects

• From time to time, you will be requested to visit site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €70k plus based on experience.
